RESSTORE in the national French press

RESSTORE was recently featured in an original article of the national French newspaper "Le Monde" (online version) on promising new therapies for stroke. In the article, Sandrine Cabut reports on the study led by the team of Dr Gary Steinberg (Stanford University School of Medicine, USA) recently published in the prestigious Stroke scientific journal which demonstrated that injecting modified, human, adult stem cells directly into the brains of chronic stroke patients proved not only safe but effective in restoring motor function, according to the findings of this small clinical trial (18 patients).

RESSTORE website now publicly accessible

The RESSTORE public website was launched on the 15th of March 2016. The objective of this site is to provide some general information about stroke and cellular therapy as well as detailed information about RESSTORE objectives, activities and key public results. In particular, this site presents the specific objectives of the project, a description of the institutions that are going to carry out the research activities, and the specific organization of those activities within the project framework. In addition, this site will make available all public deliverables.

RESSTORE kick-off meeting - MADRID

On 25/26th January 2016, the RESSTORE consortium partners met at the Alameria Hotel in Madrid during a two day plenary event organised by UGA and FINOVATIS to carry out an in-depth review of the project objectives and how they will be achieved. The expectations of the various stakeholders (i.e. policy makers, scientific community and the general public) and the various strategies that will be implemented to meet them were also discussed.
